Oaklands Hall is situated just off the A57, a mile or so from Hyde town centre and close to Godley
Railway station. It has excellent free parking facilities.
Oaklands Masonic Hall
The Hall is home to 14 craft lodges. A number of other Masonic Orders also meet there. Lodges make use of two
well-appointed 1st floor lodge rooms. The ground floor has a comfortable bar area and two attractive dining rooms -
used to get together for a meal, following every lodge meeting.
Oaklands is very busy with outside bookings, being a preferred venue for a variety of organisations. It is also an excellent and popular venue for wedding receptions.
Meetings of Romiley Lodge No. 4976
Regular Lodge meetings are at Oaklands at 6.15p.m., on the 3rd Wednesday, during December, January, February, March, April, September, October and November. (NB. This is the Installation meeting, when the start time is brought forward). At 8.00 p.m. on the previous Friday, there is a rehearsal for any Ceremony planned for the coming meeting. Lodge Committee meetings may also be held on the same evening.
