Ladies Nights, Dances & Concerts will usually be organised by Lodges during 8 months of
the year.
Social events for the various Lodges are advertised on the notice board, at Oaklands Hall. All
Masons are welcome. It is not necessary to be a member of another Lodge, to attend a
social function.
Social events are not undertaken though, as part of the formal workings of the Lodge. Appropriate
discussion and organisation will be outside of normal Lodge business - usually, at a Lodge
Committee meeting.
All social activity will run on a self-financing basis. Any excess of income over expenditure will usually be
applied for the benefit of the Lodge Charity accounts.
Socially, much will depend on the preferences of each Master for a given year. This means that unlike regular Lodge activity, social events take place on an ad hoc basis.
